ABOUT

Life Reflecting focuses on stories told by three individuals, reflecting back on very different challenges in their lives. Even though the characters never meet, their stories are intertwined over more than a decade, tied together as their lives crossed in surprising ways.

Ann’s film debut was derailed when her director rushed to be with his brother Tom, in the hospital after a car wreck. And while Tom had saved many lives after Hurricane Katrina, he allowed Helene’s life-saving plea to go unheard. Years later, they each reflect on the meaning of those cries for help.

The three characters share perseverance and a commitment to help others by drawing on their life experiences. By mirroring their own traumas, they are able to bring about catharses in others.
